Join Michael James Wong, Meditation Teacher and Founder of Just Breathe for a deep immersion into silence, stillness and the wisdom of a quiet practice.

Set amongst twenty-one acres of undisturbed private woods, lakes and gardens in the English countryside, Just Breathe will host an inward journey into self-discovery, meditation and mindfulness. Throughout the weekend you will be asked to commit to 72 hours of deep silence and twice daily meditation practice, breath work, gentle movement and extended moments of solitude and stillness.

Each morning you’ll rise for a sunrise practice with Michael and throughout the weekend you’ll experience a planned schedule of activities, nature walks and quiet moments. Then each evening we’ll sit together for a lecture and discourse on meditation, breathing practices, gentle wisdom and more. This breath making and breathtaking experience will help to shift you perspective and deepen your connection to a quieter life.

 

Why silence?

The world is a busy and noisy place, so we must find practices that cultivate our inward awareness. This is the gift of stillness. Living in complete silence for 4 days might seem like a strange practice but in our experience it can be quite eye opening. This retreat will be alcohol free, laptop free, phone free and most importantly, care free.

 

What’s included?

With an intimate group of just 20 guests, there will be the opportunity to connect with others or enjoy the space as suits you each day. We’ll be staying in luxury, shared en-suite rooms, so bring a friend, or come make new ones in the Just Breathe community. 

You’ll be served 3 vegetarian meals a day, tea and snacks will be available too and all dietary requirements will be catered for.

 

Location?

About your host

Michael is the founder of Just Breathe and a leading voice in the global movement for modern mindfulness. He is an author, speaker, community leader and meditation teacher who is dedicated to expanding the conversation around the mind and mental health. Michael is internationally recognised for his work in the wellness community as both as an advocate and entrepreneur.
