Our Just Breathe Method is a practice of quiet connection that utilises breathwork, meditation and deep rest as essential practices to support your mind and mental health. Our certified training method uses NSRT, Nervous System Response Techniques that utilise a multidisciplinary approach to calm the mind, reduce hyper stimulation, manage stress and cultivate deep inward attention. 

Our certified training course will help you learn the tools and techniques to safely guide breathwork and meditation practices to regulate and support the nervous system. This training will empower you with the understanding and approach to safely guide others. This training will empower you with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to facilitate meaningful change - one breath at a time.

The Just Breathe Teacher Training course is a comprehensive method to functional and systematic breathwork techniques and a multidisciplinary approach to meditation.

How the course works

Part 1: Educate

6 Zoom Lectures & Interactive Sessions

Over the 12 week course, you’ll have 6 scheduled Zoom lectures and Q&A sessions with Michael and your mentors. While live attendance isn’t mandatory, it’s highly recommended. All Zoom sessions are recorded and must be watched before starting the next module to ensure you stay on track.

In addition to the live sessions, you’ll be supported by intimate mentor groups, each with no more than 10 students. Your dedicated mentors will be there every step of the way, from day one to graduation; offering personalised guidance, answering questions, leading practices, and fostering meaningful discussions both during and between sessions.

On-Demand Learning

Discover the transformative power of breathwork and meditation through our 12 comprehensive online modules. Each module dives deep into three key areas; breathwork fundamentals, meditation modalities, and protocols and methods, sharing lectures, techniques, practices, and insights for a well-rounded experience.

Learn with Michael and our expert Just Breathe Mentors with over 300+ videos and fifty hours of video content on the training platform - most videos are ten minutes or less, making it easy to fit into your weekly schedule. Designed as a 12 module curriculum spread over 12 weeks, this course allows you to explore one module per week at your own pace. Approximately 2-3 hours per week is needed to complete the on-demand learning content, coursework, case studies and practical and video assessments.

Part 2: Facilitate

5 Day Immersion

Your 5 day Immersion is where your 12 modules of learning come alive and theory transforms into real-world practice. This immersive experience is thoughtfully designed to help you integrate your knowledge, refine your techniques, and step confidently into your role as a skilled facilitator of breathwork and meditation.

Over these five transformative days (or sessions), you’ll teach, share, guide, and receive expert feedback in a supportive and encouraging environment. This is an immersive opportunity to embody the practices, learn to hold space with confidence and clarity and establish your ability to facilitate in a clear and safe way.

Michael James Wong, Lead Teacher & Course Facilitator

Michael has been a meditation and breathwork teacher since 2008 with a background in the psychological and sociological effects of these practices in the real world. Michael is a world renowned teacher, author and speaker who believes in the power of these practices to support our mind and mental health. Born in New Zealand and raised in Los Angeles, Michael now lives in London and has dedicated his life to ensuring that these quiet practices are easy, accessible and agnostic in the modern world. Michael founded Just Breathe in 2016 as a way to educate and inspire the world how to meditate. As an organisation, Just Breathe is dedicated to bringing people together to celebrate community, connection and quiet.

Just Breathe Certification

Throughout the training there will be coursework and practical assessments. This is to ensure the course material and techniques are understood and embodied. As a training school we have a duty of care to ensure all Just Breathe Guides are prepared to share and have completed all course assessments. 

During the training there will be a daily group meditation on Zoom, as well as practice teaching sessions, and final assessments as part of the level 1 certification.

Once completed you will be able to use the designation of Just Breathe Certified Level 1 - Meditation and Breathwork Teacher.

  • Yes, upon completing the Just Breathe Teacher Training, you will receive a Just Breathe certificate. In addition, our training is accredited by CPD UK,ensuring that you gain a recognised qualification that meets industry standards.

  • While the zoom sessions are not mandatory, we highly recommend them. In our live sessions there will be a chance to discuss and room for Q&A which will ultimately a great way to learn. All live zoom sessions will be recorded and loaded onto our learning platform within 24 hours.

  • Yes absolutely. This course is the type of course that supports personal health and well-being. We have many student participants who have been table to apply for workplace funding for our course. If you are in need of any assistance from us, confirmations or receipts, we are happy to help!

  • There is, we reserve space for the individuals from the BIPOC community and those who experience hardship. These are assessed on a case by base basis with certain spaces allocated on each training.
