Michael James Wong
Michael has been a meditation and mindfulness teacher since 2008, and has travelled all around the world teaching and sharing the wisdom of these ancient practices. Born in New Zealand, but raised on the beaches of sunny Santa Monica, Michael has dedicated his life to ensuring that these quiet practices are easy and accessible in the modern world.
In 2016, five years after moving to the UK, Michael founded Just Breathe as a way to celebrate these practices and create a community that was both breath making and breath taking. Today, that is still the vision and drive behind the Just Breathe community.
Michael has been a keynote speaker at London TEDx events, Parliamentary APPG for mindfulness, the NHS and The Royal College of General Practitioners.
He has featured in The Evening Standard, The Guardian, Balance Magazine, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Culture Trip, mindbodygreen, BBC Radio, Sunday Times Style, Timeout, The Telegraph and the Huffington Post, as well as being named in Balance Magazines 2019 Wellness 100 list.

We’ve created Mindfulness for the Workplace courses to help support employees with their mental health and wellbeing through these challenging times.
Above: Our events invite people to take a meditative pause amidst the busy city life. We’ve brought together over 10,000 people to be in community and meditate at iconic locations including The British Museum, Truman Brewery, The Tate and The Shard.
